Camel Audio is now owned by Apple – Apple kauft Camel Audio
it’s now for sure – Camel Audio has been acquired by Apple. As a user we can refer to CA’s service until this Summer / July. So expect something to come in Logic / Garage Band 10.2 right? And Apps?
Expect no Windows stuff anymore!
New „formal“ Address is now Apple London / (Heather Joy Morrison), that’s why it is known now – not that Apple ever have posted something official ;)
Ja, Camel Audio (Alchemy und diverse Plugins wie „Space“ und „Phat“..) gehören jetzt Apple, dh. wir können wohl mit entsprechenden Ergebnissen in Logic 10.X oder ggf. auch Garage Band oder Apps rechnen. Die neue formelle Adresse ist nämlich nun Apple London. Wie so oft, sagt Apple dazu nichts, es reicht das dies so ist. Vermutlich ist Apple die einzige Firma, die nichts selbst raus geben muss, den Job machen die Fachblogs.
Windows kann man allerdings klar vergessen!

well, they don’t buy them and not using their expertise – I strongly believe we will see synths in Logic etc.
But for Windows user I never thought killing Logic for the whole platform was a good idea. As well as the very cool Emagic MIDI Interface – wasn’t a good job on musicians as well to kill anything hardware and Sounddiver
Und die erste Konsequenz. Die iOS App ist inklusive in App Content aus dem AppStore (DE) verschwunden. Ich musste mein iPad gestern aus einem aktuellen Backup neu aufsetzen und hab jetzt keine Möglichkeit mehr den bereits gekauften in App Content erneut zu laden! Die App ist auch aus dem Store verschwunden. ;( Und ich benutze sie wirklich viel!!!
Und die InApp Käufe werden offensichtlich nicht im Backup mit gesichert. WTF
Und ich fürchte, wenn die App unter dem „Label“ Apple erneut in den A*Store kommt darf ich sie inkl. in App erneut kaufen. Ich könnte echt…. Ich hab so einen Hals. Sch*
